Portfolio Task 1




Sales at a small restaurant in a downtown American district (week of October 7-13)
            The table below shows the sales at a small restaurant in a downtown American business district.
            First of all, we can see from the table sales on all days except on Sunday. On Monday, it reports for lunch sales $2,400 and for dinner $3,623. Then, on Tuesday, sales increase slightly to $2,450 and $3,623 for lunch and dinner, respectively. Next, on Wednesday, it decreased by $405 but for lunch it rose by $145. After that, on Thursday, the total sales of lunch and dinner were $5,375. On Friday, the dinner sales were more than lunch sales by $1,850. We can see these days are weekdays.
            In addition, on Saturday, the sales were $1,950 for lunch and $2,900 for dinner. On the other hand, Sunday is a day off for the restaurant.
            In conclusion, we can see the table reports the total highest sales on Friday were $6,850 and the total lowest sales were on Saturday $4,050.
