Population Growth from 1750 – 2150
The
chart shows population growth between richer and poor countries between 1750 to
2150.
The most significant feature is that
the sum in developing countries is always bigger than the number of people in
developed countries. Population in less developed countries has increased
faster than that in developed countries.
As can be seen, there was a gradual
increase in the number of people in developed countries between 1750 and 1950.
The population of developed countries doubled reaching half a billion.
Meanwhile, that of the developing countries rose to 1.2 billion.
The population of developing
countries climbed dramatically from 1950 to 2000. They reached 6.1 billion in
2000.
In addition, the number of people in
developed countries didn’t rise between 2000 and 2150. There will be an
enormous increase in the Third world in the future. Maybe are total in
developing nations will reach 10 billion in 2150.
In conclusion, during this period,
there was much fluctuation in the population of the developed and the
developing countries from 1750 to 2150
